All About the Gear

As of Spring of 21, Jarhid’s live setup for The Odd Builder consists of:

• Soundcraft EPM6 Mixer
  

  Used for mixing all signals down to a stereo-out for mains and font of house mix

• Akai MPC Live 2
  

  MPC is used for layering textures and percussive elements to songs using midi inputs for sampled or chopped elements.MPC also serves as the midi clock master clock for syncing.

• Singular Aeros Loop Studio
  

  The Aeros is used to live layer any “send” from the mixer and is able to loop up to six tracks with unlimited overdubs. The Aeros is synced via midi clock from the MPC

• Line 6 HX Effects
  

  The HX Effects is used as a multipurpose effects generator for guitar and also doubles as a midi foot controller for the MPC and the Aeros Loop Pedal
